Grand Reopening of The Peranakan Museum

The Peranakan Museum is now opened to public. It rained earlier in the evening but that didn't deter people from streaming in, to check out the revamped Museum with ornate & beautiful display of all things Peranakan. As part of the Armenian Street Party and until tomorrow night, gazebos were set up selling food & fashion wear.

Organised by The Peranakan Association of Singapore (TPAS), nyonyas from Gunong Sayang Association & Chetti Melaka of Singapore participated in "The Mood for Kebaya" parade last night. Thank you, TPAS for inviting us to be part of your Parade.

GOH Senior Minister Teo Chee Hean graced the private event & GSA Suara Sayang had the privilege to entertain our distinguished guests, Babas & Nyonyas in the Peranakan community with a medley of lively songs & a dance.
